Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website (getclaritytest.com) is operated by Media Value Solutions, S.L., a company registered in Spain ("we", "us", "our"). For any privacy-related question, contact us at support@getclaritytest.com.

We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Under EU and Spanish data protection law (GDPR + LOPDGDD), you have rights described in section 8 below.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Quiz answers: the 40 responses you give during the assessment, plus any free-text you write.
• Email address: used for account access, billing receipts, and (rarely) service-critical announcements.
• Chat messages: everything you type into the AI chat, and the AI's responses.
• Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we receive only a subscription identifier from Stripe.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Standard log data: IP address (truncated within 24h), browser, device type, pages visited, timestamps.
• Marketing identifiers: fbclid (Meta Ads), gclid (Google Ads), and UTM parameters, used to attribute conversions.
• Cookies — see section 5.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

• To deliver the service (contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): the AI cannot personalize responses without your quiz answers and chat history.
• To process payments (contract performance): via Stripe.
• To prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To measure marketing effectiveness (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): you accept this via the cookie banner. You can withdraw at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): tax records, accounting, lawful requests.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with your partner, family, employer, or anyone you know. We share strictly with these processors, each bound by a Data Processing Agreement:

• Stripe, Inc. (USA) — payment processing. stripe.com/privacy
• Anthropic, PBC (USA) — provides the AI model behind the chat. Per Anthropic's API policy, your messages are not used to train their models.
• Hosting and storage provider located in the EU.
• Google LLC — Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies).
• Meta Platforms, Inc. — Meta Pixel for ad attribution (only if you accept marketing cookies).

International transfers to the USA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, plus the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

5. Cookies

• Strictly necessary: session, authentication, fraud prevention. Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics: Google Analytics. Used only with your consent.
• Marketing: Meta Pixel, Google Ads. Used only with your consent.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner footer link.

6. How long we keep your data

• Quiz answers + chat history: for as long as your subscription is active, plus 12 months for service continuity if you re-subscribe.
• Billing records: 6 years (Spanish tax law requirement).
• Marketing identifiers: 90 days.
• Server logs: 30 days.

If you cancel and don't re-subscribe within 12 months, we automatically delete your quiz and chat data.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. We log all administrative access. We've never been breached — if that ever changed, we'd notify you within 72 hours, as required by GDPR.

8. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data (download from Account → "Download my data", or email us)
• Rectify inaccurate information
• Erase your account and everything tied to it (we comply within 72 hours)
• Restrict processing in certain cases
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing)
• Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) or your local supervisory authority

To exercise any of these, email support@getclaritytest.com. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.

9. Children

The service is intended for adults aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us immediately and we'll delete the account.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll email you at least 14 days in advance. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
